Does each cottages have private pools? Yes, each cottages have its own private pools.
Do I have to bring my own linens and towels? No, these items are provided for you. You may want to bring your own beach towels for the pools.
Are the cottages private and secluded from each other? Yes, all cottages are very private and secluded. These are the MOST private cottages you will find in Wimberley.
How far from town are the cottages? About 4 miles North of the Wimberley Square.
What time is check in/ check out? Check in is 3pm or after. Check out is 11am or before.
Are the pools heated? Since all cottages have their own private hot tubs the pools are not heated.
Is breakfast included? We do not supply any meals other than what is on our Spa and Specialty page for purchase.
Can we build outdoor fires? Due to the burn bans and respect of other guests, outdoor fires are not permitted.
Are the fireplaces operable during the summer months? The fireplaces are only operable when weather permits which is usually about November - February.
Why are children under 18 not allowed? Due to insurance and the respect of other guests, children under 18 are not permitted (this includes babies). Exotic Sunset was created as a romantic getaway for couples to relax in a very tranquill and quiet environment (sorry, no exceptions).
Will the pools be warm enough to swim in by late spring (May, June)? With our Texas weather, you just never know. It should be warm enough by June but we just can't say for sure.
Are the pools accessible all year long? Yes!
Do the cottages have Barbeque pits? Yes, each cottage has its own barbeque pit.
Is charcoal provided? For insurance reasons, no. You will need to bring your own.
Is firewood provided? No, but you may bring your own. Please be sure you only bring oak wood and fire starters. No other woods, no newspaper or lighter fluids. We have a "cozy night by the fireplace" package on our spa and specialty page for purchase as well.
Is there internet? So all of our guests can thoroughly enjoy the Texas hill country, the cottage surroundings and each other, internet is not provided at our cottages.
Can we bring our pet? Sorry, but due to "accidents" and the allergies of future guests, pets are not allowed.
